Mesh for Spring: The 90’s Inspired Trend

Please know that I am not ashamed to admit that I like to do the obvious and wear florals in the spring. However, I have SOME range, and I have worn strips to welcome spring as well. We are more than aware of the difficulty of dressing for the transition between winter and spring. I am trying mesh for spring!

Nude

I bought these boots so I could wear them as a neutral or a nude shade for my skin tone. I wear brown as a nude, and I don’t think I gave this outfit enough love; it is great for spring! I adore these boots that are reminiscent of the boot trends in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. These square toe boots with faux croc embossing and brown shine are a great edition to my wardrobe.

Mesh

Do you like the resurgence of the late 90’s and early 2000’s aesthetic? I am a tad bit annoyed with the fanatic interest; I’ve been there and done that! While trying to navigate the seasonal transition, I paired these boots with a lightweight back out mesh midi dress. Popularized by Jean Paul Gaultier in the ’90s, mesh was once associated with edgy, cool-girls. I approve of this trend. However, I am not giving a full pass to all of the deep nostalgic obsession. I am looking at the trends individually and picking and choosing. I approve of mesh! Love mesh! I want more mesh! I am ready to go outside! Be prepared to be sick of me!
