Did I get your attention with this blog post title? I adore color and texture and don’t gravitate to muted colors much less a ‘nude’. The quotations are shady way of acknowledging that term can be unpacked. As a dark skin woman I am conflicted-do I continue to talk about colorism or instead, just exist and my existence, challenge the status quo?

Instagram made me do it! All of the dark skin women who wear brown from head to toe, thank you. You are inspiration. You are my Mona Lisa. Wearing brown makes me uncomfortable so of course I jump in and wear brown ribbed catsuit. One thing about me, I tend to go full force with everything I do-EVERYTHING. Here I am wearing a ‘nude’ and it feels great.
